This what is happening to the park near my house in Columbia, MD.
I think this really relates to some of the work I have been doing, particularly the lithos and acetone transfers. I spent the day there today taking pictures of it.
I’m not sure what is being built, I just think it kinda SUCKS.
The two of these images together have a very interesting relationship. I wasn’t planning on showing them together, but in my critique today the connection was made.
I am really getting into activating the paper as an art object and part of the piece itself. Placement of the print on the page, and breaking down the image into squares really helps to achieve this and frame the print in an interesting way.
